First stop was a night at Grandma & Grandpa Tanner's. It was really fun visiting with them. Sunday we went to church with them - an all senior citizens branch. So basically you can hear a pin drop and then there is us and our two boys. I must say they did very well but even the tiniest whisper everyone in the rows around us could hear. Needless to say it was a bit of a tense hour for Jacoby & I. After the closing prayer Coby says Is it over yet? Can we go home now? It brought a good round of chuckles from the pews around us.
Next stop was a visit with Grandma (aka my mom). The first morning we were there is was snowing a bunch so the boys and I played in the backyard while Jacoby finished his paper. The boys had never seen falling snow before so it was fun treat. I must admit I like not living in snow but it sure is beautiful to watch as it covers everything in perfect whiteness.
We also got a chance to have lunch with an old roommate of mine and dear friend, Linda & Tyler and their sweet baby girl, Jada. I love how you can not see someone for a long time and because you are such good friends you can just pick up where you left off. It's a good feeling. It was fun to see them as parents. We are still hoping one of these days they will make it California for good:) And of course we ate at Cafe Rio, our favorite restaurant in the world!
My Grandma & Grandpa Tate were up for a funeral so we got to spend some time with them at Mom's house as well. Every night we played cards which is what the Tates do when they get together and I loved it. It's been a long time since we've done any game nights (darn school!).

The next day it was off to find a hill for sledding and building some snowmen. Sledding isn't quite as fun as it used to be in college, I think it had something to do with the six month belly, the wrong size snow shoes, the thin Utah air on my already taxed lungs, and the too tight snowpants I borrowed from Jacoby. Forunately, everyone else had a great time!

After our stop at mom's we spent a few days visiting our good friends the Dahmers. We had a great time there and they were super hosts! Coby fell in love with their daughter Ashlyn and we heard nothing else but her for the next few weeks. Even months later he still talks about her and wants to know when we can see her again. This is us at the bounce house with the kids. And yeah, Mindy and I are only a few days apart in our pregnancy and I look twice as big as her!!!
Here's us with the whole crowd. We had some more Cafe Rio for dinner (I mean can you EVER have enough of it??) and then they had planned a crepe night. Our friends the Rowberrys came over and we had a fun night of friends and food. We only needed the Bennions to make it complete.....
Our last stop was to see my sister Lonica and her family and then we headed home. Overall it was a most fabulous vacation and we are thankful to everyone who shared their homes and time with us. We love you!!!!
